The Curzon group started out by showing imported films between the wars. The Cinemas have been showing art house films in London and throughout the UK for over 80 years.
They opened their Canterbury Venue on Westgate Hall Road in 2014. The former dance hall had been on the site for over 100 years. The conversion required bespoke herringbone parquet flooring to highlight the unique qualities of the building.
We took a classic approach and gave it a modern twist, with a longer wider look. Our engineers smoked and brushed the matt parquet strips, bringing out the natural oak colour.
